Weather can present challenges and hazards during flight but onboard weather products can help increase your situational awareness and aid in decision-making. This video series, developed in partnership with Sirius XM Aviation (SXM), discusses the SXM set-up of your Garmin unit and highlights common uses of specific SXM Weather products. The video series will include several operational scenarios that highlight the value of the various weather features. Seven videos are included in the initial release and more videos will be published in the near future. The weather videos are part of a new Garmin Aviation Risk Management series that will cover weather, traffic, terrain, and other common general aviation hazards and how Garmin avionics can help mitigate the risks associated with these hazards.
