Greg Kimathi Carr is an Associate Professor of Africana Studies and Adjunct Instructor of Law at Howard University. As Chair of Howard’s Afro American Studies Department, he helped assemble the largest number of PhDs in Africana Studies at any HBCU. Greg is First Vice President of the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations, a board member of the National Council for Black Studies and has twice been named “HBCU Male Faculty Member of the Year” by HBCU Digest.
