In an interview with Andy Cohen, Andrew McCarthy revealed he never dated any “Brat Pack” members – although he admitted to having a crush on his “St. Elmo’s Fire” co-star Ally Sheedy. The actor, who just directed the Hulu documentary “BRATS,” sat down with Andy during a new episode of Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy (Ch. 102).

“Did you ever date anyone in the Brat Pack? I know that you had a crush on Ally Sheedy,” Andy asked Andrew.

“I did have a little crush on Ally Sheedy,” Andrew said. “She was having nothing to do with me. No, I didn’t actually.”

McCarthy also shared that he lost his virginity at 17 to a girl he didn’t know during a Halloween party in his NYC apartment and mentioned that Judd Nelson was the most excited about his movie.

“At the beginning when I am calling everyone up, there’s one moment where I’m saying to someone, “Don’t tell me now. Don’t tell me know. I want to get this all on film,” and that was Judd I was talking to because when I called Judd up, he was the most excited of anyone,” Andrew said. “I said, ‘I’d love to. OK,’ and he just launched in about all the Brat Pack and that’s when I said to him, which is in the movie, you know, ‘Don’t tell me now. I want to get this all on film. Just slow down, Judd. I’ll come to LA, and we’ll sit down,’ and he goes, ‘Great. Call me when you’re ready. I’m here,’ and then he sort of became like a unicorn. We couldn’t find him for months and months and months and then finally, he just said, ‘I don’t want to do it.’ Yeah, he just changed his mind, which is fine.”

“BRATS” centers on the young ’80s movie icons who were branded the “Brat Pack” and features interviews with Sheedy, Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Emilio Estevez, Jon Cryer, Lea Thompson, and Timothy Hutton – many of whom McCarthy had not seen in decades.
