Beyoncé showed her love for the Queen of Rock & Roll in a special performance during the Renaissance World Tour following Tina Turner’s passing last week at the age of 83.

The Renaissance World Tour, which will take Beyoncé to 40 cities, visited Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first of five nights in London on May 29. During the show, Beyoncé paid tribute to Tina by covering her 1967 hit “River Deep – Mountain High.”

Introducing the song as one of her “favorites” before announcing her love and admiration for the late singer, Beyoncé subverted the up-tempo anthem to deliver a heartfelt ballad that conveyed deep emotion about Tina’s passing. Wearing an all-blue ensemble, Beyoncé created a powerful and memorable moment.

Beyoncé previously performed alongside Tina Turner at the 2008 Grammy Awards. At the ceremony, they sang “Proud Mary,” the Creedence Clearwater Revival hit that Turner became known for.

Beyoncé’s recent performance continues the outpouring of love she has shown since Tina’s passing. She paid tribute to Tina Turner on her website on May 24, writing, “So grateful for your inspiration, and all the ways you have paved the way.”

Beyoncé also honored her idol in another recent performance. On May 26, at the Stade de France in Paris, she made a moving speech to fans during her first show after Tina Turner’s passing. Beyoncé said she wouldn’t be on stage without Tina, and proclaimed that if you’re a fan of Beyoncé, you’re a fan of Tina Turner.
