Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios spoke on Mad Dog Sports Radio’s “Beadle & Decker” show about how dating content creator and TikTok star Alix Earle changed his life off the field and the similarities between content creators and professional athletes.

“When I met her, when we started talking and then dating, I knew that came with it, obviously,” Berrios said. “Yeah, it’s cool. It is a different world.”

He continued, “We as athletes, we dream of this and do so many things our whole life to get to where we are, and I think there’s a wrong connotation about a lot of the creators or social media stars or whatever because, in the same way, they do the same thing. Now, maybe it didn’t take as much time, right? Maybe it didn’t take as many years, but it still takes thought, it takes planning, it takes sacrifice. They have to film it, they have to edit it, they have to be creative about it. There are a lot of things that come with it.”

Berrios added, “I don’t think when I was in high school or in college I thought this would be the other half of my life, but honestly, I’m really glad it is because it’s really cool and it exposed me to a whole new world.”
