Legendary pop composer Burt Bacharach has passed away at 94, his publicist Tina Brausam confirmed.

Throughout his life, especially in the ’60s and ’70s, Bacharach brought us chart-topping and enduring songs like Perry Como’s “Magic Moments,” Dione Warwick’s “I Say a Little Prayer,” B.J. Thomas’ “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head,” and many more.

SiriusXM’s 60s Gold (Ch. 73) and 70s on 7 (Ch. 7) channels will be paying tribute to Bacharach all day long. Plus, watch clips from his 2020 appearance at SiriusXM’s studios below.

One of the most important songwriters of the 20th century, Bacharach most frequently collaborated with lyricist Hal David. He worked with some of the biggest artists at the time — including Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin, and Elvis Costello — and achieved 73 US Top 40 hits and eight GRAMMY Awards. He also won three Oscars for his scores of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Arthur.

Bacharach is survived by wife Jane Hansen and children Oliver, Raleigh, and Cristopher.
