Casey Affleck, Hong Chau, and Matt Damon, the cast of the new AppleTV+ movie “The Instigators,” spoke with Andy Cohen during an exclusive SiriusXM Town Hall event. Andy asked for clarity about the film’s guest star, Rob Gronkowski, and the rumor that he was disappointed in the length of his cameo appearance.

“I read that he kind of thought that he was going to be in the movie more. Was there a misunderstanding there? Did he wind up on the cutting room floor?” Andy asked.

Casey explained that the rumor was “gossip that may have gotten out of hand.”

“He only had one scene. I don’t know how he could have been in it [more]. It could have been a longer scene, I guess,” Casey said, confirming that Gronk’s scene did indeed run in its entirety.

“All that says to me is that he had a really good time and that he liked the movie and he wished he was in it more,” Casey added, joking, “I wish I was in the NFL more, you know what I mean? But I’m not.”

SiriusXM’s exclusive “The Instigators” Town Hall featuring Casey Affleck, Hong Chau, and Matt Damon premieres August 2 at 10am ET on Radio Andy (Ch. 102).
