Celebrate Elvis Week 2020 with specials on Elvis Radio & all-new activities at Graceland

Elvis Presley fans and Graceland-goers alike can’t help falling in love with Elvis Week. In celebration of the annual event — now offering its first-ever virtual component —  Graceland has added ten new immersive experiences to Elvis Presley’s Memphis Complex as of Saturday, August 8, and SiriusXM is airing specials on Elvis Radio (Ch. 19) to ring in the occasion. Elvis Live in Concert

Hear all six “That’s The Way It Is” shows from Las Vegas 1970 — in order! Each concert will air at 7pm Elvis Time (8pm ET) and replay the following day at 12pm ET from Monday, August 10 through Saturday, August 15.

Elvis Quiz Show – Elvis Week Edition

This week, Elvis Radio fans can participate in an extra-special edition of the Elvis Quiz Show via Zoom! Join the fun and get quizzed by Argo and Jim before coming together virtually for the iconic “I Can Help” dance on Friday, August 14 at 1:30pm.

Club Argo Fantasy Virtual Elvis Week Dance Party

Argo will host the Elvis Week Virtual Dance Party – a 1-hour show packed with upbeat Elvis songs to dance along with! Tune in on Friday, August 14 at 10pm.

Virtual Candlelight Vigil

Elvis Week may look a little different this year, but we’re keeping the flame burning with a special Virtual Candlelight Vigil. Hear stories and moving tributes from Memphis Mafia Members Jerry Schilling, George Klein, Larry Geller, and Joe Esposito, along with Memphis music legend Sam Moore (Sam and Dave), Elvis biographer Peter Guralnick, and Elvis fans from around the globe on Saturday, August 15 at 9pm and Sunday, August 16 at 12am.

In addition to hearing these specials on air, fans can experience a modified Elvis Week from August 8 through Sunday, August 16 at Graceland. While any potential high-risk activity have been eliminated, Graceland will host a series of pre-recorded daily screening events that are a blend of new panels featuring those who knew Elvis, new interviews with Elvis tribute artists, new content pieces from the Graceland Archives, drive-in movies, and specially edited concert shows that look back on the best of Elvis Weeks past, including the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, concerts featuring Elvis’ bandmates and backup singers, and Elvis films on the big screen.

In addition, those visiting Graceland during Elvis Week will be among the first to experience 10 all-new state-of-the-art, immersive experiences that invite guests to become the king or queen of social media!
