Desert Trip Radio has taken over Classic Vinyl (Ch. 26) since Monday, exclusively airing music from artists performing at Desert Trip like The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who, preparing fans for one of the biggest classic-rock festivals.
Last night, Waters told host Jim Ladd that he’ll be playing only Pink Floyd songs during his Sunday night set.
Tune to hear SiriusXM hosts like Ladd, Chris Carter, David Fricke and Mark Goodman broadcasting backstage from Desert Trip with artist interviews like that with Waters and on-site field reports during the festival’s first weekend.
“Bobby Dylan, Paul, The Who, Neil Young … None of these guys have been in the same town on the same day,” Keith Richards said in an interview with Fricke, before the festival.
Mick Jagger is also looking forward to Desert Trip, telling Fricke, “The Rolling Stones are pretty good at doing festivals, I think.”
Roger Waters said the show is “one for the history books” while speaking with Ladd.
