Doctor Radio (Ch. 110) and the Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Health are collaborating with the Prostate Cancer Foundation to create one-hour specials focused on health disparities in prostate care for men during June (Father’s Day), September (Prostate Cancer Awareness Month), November (National Men’s Health Month) and February (Black History Month).

The Prostate Health Show

The Prostate Health Show, the Father’s Day special for June, will be hosted by Dr. Stacy Loeb, a Professor of Urology and Population Health at NYU Langone Health and member of the Perlmutter Cancer Center faculty who specializes in prostate cancer. Speaking with guest Dr. Charles Ryan, President and CEO of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, the show will give listeners an overview of prostate health and will take calls from listeners, giving them an opportunity to ask general medical questions, express concerns, engage in real medical conversations with leading experts, and more.

Men’s Health

In addition, hear monthly segments on Doctor Radio’s Men’s Health show featuring experts from the Prostate Cancer Foundation who will speak with show host Dr. Stacy Loeb. These shows will cover a wide range of topics from general prostate health, cancer prevention and screening, diagnosis, treatments and a guide for living with prostate health issues.

Home Run Challenge

To help keep dads in the game and at the forefront of prostate health awareness, Doctor Radio will support the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s 26th annual Home Run Challenge.
