Dolly Parton has already proven – countless times – that she’s the queen of country music. With her brand-new single, she’s showing she can rock out like a queen (or literally like Queen), too!
Ahead of the release of her star-studded 30-track rock ‘n’ roll album, Rockstar, Dolly dropped the music video for her lively, country-tinged mashup of Queen’s anthems “We Are the Champions” and “We Will Rock You” today (July 26). Watch it now below.

Dolly’s new song is her fourth to be made available from Rockstar, after the original song “Bygones (feat. Rob Halford)” with guests Nikki Sixx and John 5 of MÖTLEY CRÜE and her cover of “Magic Man (Carl Version) (feat. Ann Wilson),” with special guest Howard Leese. Dolly’s self-penned lead single, “World On Fire,” recently reached No. 1 on the Billboard Rock Digital Songs chart.
Her forthcoming LP, her first venture into rock music, features an all-star cast of artists, including Sting, Joan Jett, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Elton John, Brandi Carlile, and many more (see full tracklist and guests below).
Dolly said of Rockstar: “I’m so excited to finally present my first Rock and Roll album Rockstar! I am very honored and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time and to be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure. I hope everybody enjoys the album as much as I’ve enjoyed putting it together!”
