‘Fear the Reaper’: Blue Öyster Cult’s Halloween Special on Classic Rewind

In honor of Halloween 2022, Classic Rewind (Ch. 25) is serving up a treat: more cowbell. Don’t miss the channel’s Fear the Reaper special hosted by Blue Öyster Cult starting on October 28 at 6pm ET.

For an hour, members of the band will creep you out with stories about their favorite Halloween hits and the artists who made them. Hear rebroadcasts of Fear the Reaper on October 29 at 10am and 8pm ET, October 30 at 8am and 3pm ET and on Halloween, October 31 at 12pm and 8pm ET

This special comes to you following the band’s 2020 album, The Symbol Remains, which embodies a balance of classic fan-favorite BÖC sounds and musical evolution, with seasonally appropriate titles like “Tainted Blood,” and “Nightmare Epiphany.” It also comes on the 50th anniversary of their debut album and on the 45th anniversary of the Spectres release.
