Just announced: With three stages and 60+ artists, The Governors Ball Music Festival — also known as “New York’s biggest party” — is taking over Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens from June 9–11. See the full lineup below, and get ready for the event with songs by every artist on SiriusXM Hits 1 (Ch. 2) and more SiriusXM music channels. This year, the three-day festival features Lizzo, Odesza, and Kendrick Lamar as individual headliners for each night. The lineup also includes Lil Uzi Vert, HAIM, Diplo, Aespa, Lil Nas X, Sofi Tukker, and many more, spanning genres like pop, hip-hop, rock, K-pop, and EDM.
The new location promises “plenty of shade from lush trees, grassy fields for enjoying music, and a view of the iconic Unisphere,” according to the Festival website. (The Unisphere, a stainless steel sculpture of Earth that stands 12 stories tall, was originally commissioned for the World’s Fair in 1964-65.) For food, there will be dishes from some of the city’s top restaurants, plus a partnership with the Queens Night Market.
GA, GA+, VIP, and Platinum tickets are available, plus cabanas (private premier hospitality areas with main stage viewing for large groups) and extras, with the option for payment plans.
Making its debut in 2011 as a one-day festival, Governors Ball quickly grew to a three-day multi-stage event. Deemed New York City’s “premier outdoor pop event” by The New York Times and “New York City’s best music festival” by New York magazine, Gov Ball is routinely heralded as one of the top live music events in North America and the world at large. After the festival was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, it came back in 2021 — this time to Citi Field in Queens as opposed to its usual spot at Randalls Island and in September as opposed to June. This year sees Gov Ball return to its standard month but at yet another location: Flushing Meadows.
