Arizona’s senior senator, John McCain, celebrates his 81st birthday Tuesday.
His daughter, Meghan, posted an early birthday picture to her Instagram showing the senator enjoying cake at home in Cornville, Arizona.
McCain, who was diagnosed with brain cancer earlier this year, doesn’t appear to be slowing down. He watched the eclipse on a hike last week, spent time with Senate colleagues and cheered for the Diamondbacks.
Cheers to many more years of cake and candles.
