The Hawkeyes are led by quarterback Deacon Hill, making his return to Wisconsin. Since stepping in after QB Cade McNamara was sidelined due to an ACL tear, Hill’s 2023 stats include 274 passing yards and two touchdowns, both to tight end Erick All in back-to-back games.

Running back Kaleb Johnson, who returned from injury, had an explosive game against Purdue last week rushing for 134 yards. This marked a career milestone of 1,004 rushing yards for the sophomore.

Tight end Erick All, a reliable target for Hill, leads the receiving corps this season with 19 catches for 280 yards and three touchdowns, a career high.

The Wisconsin Badgers bring an imposing ground game, with running back Braelon Allen and quarterback Tanner Mordecai powering their team to 15 rushing touchdowns this season, leading the Big Ten in this category.

Defensively, safety Hunter Wohler averages 10.0 tackles per game, with an impressive 6.8 solo tackles per game, the highest among Power 5 defenders.

In the secondary, cornerback Ricardo Hallman leads the Big Ten with four interceptions. Last week, he made a game-changing 95-yard interception return for a touchdown against Rutgers.
