On April 7, country folk legend John Prine one of the most revered songwriters of the last half century — passed away after contracting the coronavirus. He was 73.

SiriusXM salutes the iconic GRAMMY-winning American country and folk singer-songwriter extraordinaire with John Prine Radio Paradise, a weekend-long takeover of Outlaw Country (Ch. 60), which includes tribute episodes of the Steve Earle Show: Hardcore Troubadour Radio, The Buddy & Jim Show with Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale, and the Alamo Jones Show (featuring highlights from a 2019 episode co-hosted by Prine), as well as Prine-hosted specials for his albums For Better or Worse (featuring tracks from his 2016 album of country duets with female partners) and The Tree of Forgiveness (co-hosted with producer Dave Cobb, with two exclusive performances).

Plus don’t miss other exclusive Prine performances and commentary from the SiriusXM archives and newly-recorded eulogies from his fellow artists and admirers airing throughout the weekend.
