Lisa Rinna Sort of Apologizes for Calling ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ the Titanic
“I put my foot in my mouth,” she told Andy Cohen on Radio Andy.
On today’s episode of Radio Andy’s “Andy Cohen Live,” actress Lisa Rinna said she was sorry for comparing her former show, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” to the sinking of the Titanic.
Speaking on comedian Eric Williams’ “That’s A Gay Ass Podcast” last week, Lisa had responded to the rumors that “RHOBH” was trying to bring back Lisa Vanderpump: “They’re always looking to save [that show]. They know it’s the Titanic. I’m just gonna say it. And we all know it’s the f****** Titanic.”
When Andy brought up the Titanic reference, Lisa said she had already told Erika Jayne she was sorry for what she had said.
“I put my foot in my mouth. It’s not that. That show’s gonna go on and on and on. I misused my words,” Lisa said.
But she quickly backtracked, adding, “I meant to say Titanic, and I said it, and I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. Let’s move on.”
“You’re not a ‘Housewife’ anymore, but that was a little bit of an old-school ‘Housewife’ apology,” Andy said. “It was a non-apology apology.”
“I don’t really feel bad about it, though,” Lisa replied.
“Andy Cohen Live” airs weekdays at 10am ET/PT, only on Radio Andy (Ch. 102) and anytime on the SiriusXM app.
