Are you ready to bounce with BPM? High-profile DJs Martin Garrix, Vice and 3LAU have taken over Saturday nights — along with Danny Howard of BBC Radio One, who is celebrating his third year hosting Nothing Else Matters — each with his own show as part of The BPM Saturday Night Bounce, heard exclusively on SiriusXM’s BPM channel.
Starting the night off at 9 pm ET is Bounce Haus by 3LAU. His show features music from both up-and-coming and established BPM artists, such as Tïesto, Kaskade and Calvin Harris, in addition to his own productions. Vegas-based DJ/producer Justin Blau (aka 3Lau) had 2014’s No. 1 song on BPM with How You Love Me. Since then, he’s launched a Las Vegas residency and collaborated on numerous projects, including producing remixes for Zedd and Tïesto as well as Ariana Grande, Nikki Minaj, and Jesse J’s Bang Bang. Popular with the 20-something crowd, he is known for his incorporation of electro- and progressive- house, dubstep along with melodic pop and ‘90s throwback samples.
Then at 10 pm ET, the party continues as DJ Vice takes over with his show Vice Airwaves which features a combination of current BPM hits, remixes and crowd-moving tracks from clubs worldwide. The Los Angeles-based DJ/producer (born Eric Aguirre) has taken on some of the hottest clubs in Ibiza, Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Miami and New York as well as festivals such as Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival and Nocturnal Wonderland with his genre-bending productions. He began DJ’ing at age 12, making a name for himself on Power 106 in LA and later working with artists such as Rihanna, Linkin Park, Tegan & Sara, Capital Cities and Kelly Rowland. He also is a fashion entrepreneur with sneaker shops in both LA and Las Vegas. His DJ residency at Marquee in Las Vegas is one of the most popular events in the dance music genre.
Finally, Martin Garrix holds down the 11 pm ET slot with The Martin Garrix Show, which features early music exclusives from Garrix and emerging dance music from around the world. Martin Garrix is a 19-year-old Dutch DJ/producer best known for his big room and progressive house productions including his hit songs, Animals and Wizard. He has collaborated with superstars Usher and Ed Sheeran, Avicii and his idol Tiesto and is currently ranked No. 3 on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs.
