Meet Gray Rizzy, the new host of the 10.5 Countdown + more on Shade 45

We are excited to announce a new addition to the Shade 45 family! Meet rising star Gray Rizzy, the new host of the 10.5 Countdown.

Rizzy is a radio personality, host and marketing consultant from New York City. Early on he found his calling growing up in hip hop’s birthplace, the South Bronx. Always one to link the right people together, he would take this skill and connect his relationships formed from hip-hop, basketball and promoting events to introduce them including a new network that included the streetwear scene within the fashion industry. Being a natural conversationalist, having access to notable contacts and always in his element while hosting events, it’s easy to see how the stage was set for a leap into radio.

After a short stay in ATL, Rizzy moved back to NYC in 2009, rejoining one of hip hop’s top DJ’s DJ Self on SiriusXM, and within a few weeks decided to take the opportunity to bring his work to the next level. You can now hear him on three programs: his First Play album release special’s, the 10.5 Countdown and VIP Saturday’s with his partner DJ Superstar Jay.

Known for his engaging and hold no punch interview style, Gray Rizzy has sat down with the music industry’s top heavy weights like Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, De La Soul, DJ Khaled and RZA of The Wu-Tang Clan. He’s also been at the forefront of supporting and breaking its new stars such as Fetty Wap, Schoolboy Q, Tory Lanez, Young M.A, Nick Grant, Young Dolph, Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Ferg, Oswin Benjamin and more.
