Metallica returned to the stage with a new concert set filmed for their Encore Drive-In Nights series! Prior to the special August 29th screenings, the band virtually joined host Jose Mangin for a fan Q&A and interview on Liquid Metal (Ch. 40).

The concert set served as Metallica’s first show in nearly a year, filmed exclusively for this event and featuring a full set of material from throughout their near four-decade career. Mixed and edited by the band’s award-winning production team, the film provided Metallica fans with an intimate, unique, and truly memorable concert experience.

The drive-in movie event was safe and socially distanced as drive-in theaters hosting the concert adhered to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended guidelines, as well as all state and local health mandates.
