Mike Trout is “having a blast” as one of MLB’s best
For Trout, 25, blocking out the noise is as simple as focusing only on his own game.
Los Angeles Angels’ Mike Trout hits a solo home run during the seventh inning of the team’s baseball game against the Detroit Tigers, Saturday, May 13, 2017, in Anaheim, Calif.
Angels star slugger Mike Trout may be the biggest start in all of Major League Baseball, but none of that pressure seems to be getting to him as he continues to light up the stat sheet with a .342 batting average and 15 home runs already this season.
For Trout, 25, blocking out the noise is as simple as focusing only on his own game.
“I’m not thinking about any of but just playing the game, playing my game, playing hard,” Trout told MLB Network Radio. “Obviously, when I go out there and play I’m having a blast…If you go 0-for-4 or 4-for-4, you’re still playing the game, still competing.”
