Mike Trout to undergo surgery: Angels GM Billy Eppler
Angels slugger Mike Trout has been placed on the DL and will undergo surgery after sliding into second base.

Angels slugger Mike Trout has been placed on the DL and will undergo surgery after sliding into second base.
General manager Billy Eppler joined SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio to discuss the injury and what it means for his team.
“(Mike Trout) has opted to undergo surgery…it’s generally a 6-8 week timetable,” Eppler said. “Ideally you’re able to get your whole group of base stealers sliding feet first…but that’s not really the reality.”
