Patti LuPone Spills New Details About ‘And Just Like That’ and ‘Palm Royale’

In a new interview on Radio Andy’s “Andy Cohen Live,” Patti LuPone told Andy Cohen never-before-heard details about her upcoming roles in the third season of “And Just Like That” and the second season of “Palm Royale.”

“I’m Mario [Cantone]’s nemesis. I’m Sebastiano [Pigazzi]’s mom. I’m the Italian lover’s mom that challenges Mario,” Patti revealed of “And Just Like That.”

In the show, Mario portrays “Sex and the City” regular Anthony Marentino, who begins a relationship with Sebastiano’s character, Giuseppe.

Patti confirmed that she will be in two episodes of “And Just Like That” Season 3 on MAX (which include scenes with Sarah Jessica Parker) as well as three episodes of “Palm Royale” Season 2 on Apple TV+.

“I’m not in [Carol Burnett’s] story, I’m sorry to say. I’m in my own story,” she said with a laugh, adding that she “crossed over” Ricky Martin in the makeup trailer. “He’s the sweetest guy. I met him when he was doing ‘Evita.'”
