In honor of Veterans Day 2020, SiriusXM will be airing a range of shows dedicated to those who have served. On November 11, don’t miss these tribute specials that will make you laugh, think, rock out, and more at the times below.
Comedy
The late, great Bob Hope had a longstanding tradition of dedicating his time to entertaining U.S. troops overseas. In the same vein, SiriusXM Comedy is celebrating Veterans Day with specials featuring the comedy icon who helped shape film, television, and stand-up throughout his nearly 80-year career. Don’t miss Hope’s classic material on Laugh USA (Ch. 98) at 8pm ET, as well as Comedy Greats (Ch. 94) at 3pm and 6pm ET.
Music
To get the adrenaline pumping, Turbo (Ch. 41) is saluting the troops with the go-to hard-rock picks that powered them through their toughest missions. Rock out to 1990s and 2000s jams as chosen by service members themselves all day long starting at 6am ET.

Business Radio (Ch. 132), SiriusXM’s home of business news, financial advice, and more, is honoring Veterans Day with a The Business of Veterans: Boots to Business special. Throughout the show, experts and executives will discuss the common challenges in transitioning from military to civilian life and reentering the workforce, as well as reinforcing the importance of supporting veteran-owned businesses and initiatives to hire vets. Radio Classics (Ch. 148) is traveling back to the Golden Age of Radio with a tribute to the nostalgic war stories and iconic variety show performances of yesteryear. During the first two-hour special at 2pm ET, the channel will feature Cavalcade of America‘s classic “Walk in the Sun” WWII adventure about an American platoon in Italy, CBS Radio Workshop‘s “Harmonica Solo” WWII combat story between a new recruit and weathered veteran, America At War‘s “This Is War” 1942 program depicting WWII patriotism and dramatizations, and Norman Corwin Presents’ “Fourteen August” VJ Day broadcast hosted by Orson Welles. At 8pm ET, Radio Classics will air Command Performance, Bing Crosby’s VJ Day variety show which was originally broadcast via the Armed Forces Radio Network on August 14, 1945.
