The 96th Academy Awards — also known as the Oscars — will take place on March 10, 2024, at Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood to honor movies released in 2023. It’s hard to forget that 2023 was the year of Barbenheimer; those two films combined have an impressive 21 Oscar nominations, with 13 for Oppenheimer and eight for Barbie. Emma Stone’s Poor Things also racked up an impressive 11 nominations, and Paul Giamatti’s The Holdovers has five. And we can’t forget Killers of the Flower Moon.

It was an impressive year for film releases, and there’s no telling if one of these movies will sweep the top categories or it’ll be an even split amongst the top contenders. How many of the 10 films nominated for Best Picture have you seen?
