September 11 at 8am ET, Jimmy Mac hosts Day of Days: September 11, 2001 – A Novel of the Fire Service. Connecticut volunteer firefighter Frank Napolitano was headed to lower Manhattan for a hearing when the planes hit. Two weeks later, he and his fire company assisted in the recovery efforts there. Though this is a work of fiction, the accounts of the day of 9/11 at the World Trade Center are based on the actual events that the FDNY experienced that day. All profits will be donated evenly between Tunnels to Towers Foundation and the 9/11 Tribute Museum in Manhattan.
