Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson spoke with SiriusXM NFL Radio about working with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and how he’s picking up the offense so far in training camp.

“I think [Smith] teaches it in such a great way, and his ability to break down the film, the one-on-one time we spend together, too, makes a huge difference,” Wilson said. “I think also, too, just his knowledge of the game. Obviously, he’s been a head coach. He’s been through the fire, too, as well. Sometimes, you know, you get molded in that way.”

He continued, “I love his edge that he has, play calling. And he’s got a tenacity to him that I love, and that’s what you want in a playcaller. And I just love how he teaches. I think that’s the thing about being a great coach. You gotta be a great teacher.”
