During the special, the cast reflects on filming the last scene with Reneé Rapp’s character (Leighton Murray), preparing for season 3, Tig Notaro, party montages, and more.

“Yeah, it was a crazy day,” Alyah Chanelle Scott says of Reneé’s last scene. “Genuinely so strange because it kind of felt like this impending thing that we knew it was on the bottom of the call sheet.”

“We have to do that scene and then it’s like dark out, it’s like 10 p.m.,” Alyah adds. “Everyone’s dead tired and then there’s no barrier to the emotion. She’s standing in front of you saying those words and it’s like, I’m sobbing.I think they didn’t even use any of the takes where we were all like – actually they were like, ‘Ok, reel it in a little, this is getting a little too far.’”
