SiriusXM and Live Nation will present Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement Tour featuring The Regrettes, Welles and Micky James. The 15 city North American tour, which is the fifth such tour curated by SiriusXM’s Alt Nation, will kick off November 27 at Denver’s Marquis Theater. SiriusXM listeners will have the opportunity to purchase tickets on October 3 before they go on sale to the general public.

SiriusXM’s Alt Nation is committed to finding and exposing the new artists pushing the sound of Alternative music forward in 2018. Alt Nation was the first national broadcast outlet to support Welle’s single “Seventeen.” The channel also introduced Micky James to North America by being the first to play “Give It To Me Straight,” additionally Alt Nation recently world premiered new music from both The Regrettes and Micky James on its new music show Advanced Placement show.

The tour offers listeners and music fans across North America the chance to see the type of new and emerging artists featured regularly on Alt Nation’s new music show Advanced Placement which can be heard Thursdays at 3 pm ET.

SiriusXM and Live Nation presented Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement Tour for the first time in 2015 featuring Pop Etc., The Moth & The Flame and Banners. The second Advanced Placement Tour in 2016 featured The Shelters, The Hunna and Night Riots. MISSIO, Coast Modern, 888 and Sundara Karma performed in 2017, and earlier this year, Mansionair, Mikky Ekko and NoMBe played as part of the Advanced Placement Tour.

Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement is a weekly show featuring new artists as well as new songs from Alt Nation artists.Hosted by Alt Nation’s Jeff Regan, Advanced Placement introduces North America to new artists, spotlights music from new albums released that week, and deep tracks from Alt Nation artists.

Alt Nation plays the latest alternative rock releases including Bastille, Young The Giant, Mumford & Sons, MUSE, Portugal. The Man and many more.
