Go inside the state-of-the-art broadcast center in “Magic City.”
Ahead of the official opening of SiriusXM Miami later this spring, we’re bringing you inside the state-of-the-art broadcast center in “Magic City.”
To kick things off, check out GRAMMY Award-winning Cuban singer Albita’s exclusive performance from the new space. The set will close out our special Women’s History Month programming on Caliente (Ch. 151) and premiere on March 31 at 1pm ET. The full special will also be available on the SXM App and replay on Caliente on March 31 at 7pm, April 1 at 4pm, April 2 at 10am (all times ET).
Additionally, last weekend, we celebrated Miami Music Week with our Electro channels — BPM, Diplo’s Revolution, and SiriusXM Chill. Check out more here.
Located at 2340 Collins Avenue, the venue features a 50-seat performance space and several artist-first radio and recording studios, in addition to office space. SiriusXM Miami joins SiriusXM’s portfolio of national broadcast facilities, which includes its headquarters in New York City’s Rockefeller Center; its West Hollywood studios, which feature the Los Angeles performance space, “The Garage”; and its studios and offices in Washington D.C. and Nashville, Tennessee.
Miami is a vibrant center for music, art, entertainment and sports and the SiriusXM studios will be a mecca for talent on promotional tours in the area. The studios and programming will celebrate the city’s rich Hispanic and Latinx culture with exclusive live performances, broadcasts, podcasts and events. The studios will be utilized by the company’s entire slate of audio entertainment brands including, SiriusXM, Pandora and Stitcher.
