The NASCAR Cup Series traveled to Pocono Raceway last Sunday. Here’s a look at the Power Rankings after the M&Ms Fan Appreciation 400:

1. Chase Elliott

His series-leading fourth win of the season came without leading a lap as Denny Hamlin’s disqualification led to Elliott being named the winner of Sunday’s race at Pocono.

Point Standings: 1st
Last Week: 1st

2. Ross Chastain

Maybe Denny Hamlin thought he got payback with Chastain after their incident. But in reality the DQ for the Joe Gibbs Racing driver allowed Chastain to finish higher with his 32nd place finish.

Point Standings: 2nd
Last Week: 2nd

3. Denny Hamlin

Whether his feud with Ross Chastain is over or not remains to be seen but another chapter was written at Pocono when the two raced hard and the Trackhouse Racing driver found the wall. More importantly Hamlin’s apparent victory was taken away with his car’s post race disqualification.

Point Standings: 21st
Last Week: 3rd

4. Kyle Busch

While the discussion about his future filled the air over the weekend at Pocono, Busch went out and led a race-high 63 laps. In the end it was all for naught as his second place finish was wiped out by the post race disqualification.

Point Standings: 8th
Last Week: 4th

5. Christopher Bell

A good way to back-up his New Hampshire win a week ago. Bell finished sixth at Pocono and is another driver looking to keep things rolling as the regular season comes to a close and the Playoffs beckon.

6. Kyle Larson

A Pocono win wasn’t in the cards for Larson, who came so close to winning at the track last year. But a fifth-place finish with 18 laps at the front of the field not a terrible afternoon by any means for the Hendrick Motorsports driver.

Last Week: 8th

7. Daniel Suarez

There’s another top-five for Suarez who really hasn’t slowed down much during the summer stretch since his first career Cup win came at Sonoma back in June. The Trackhouse Racing story is very much alive and well with the No. 99 team.

8. Tyler Reddick

Solid day for Reddick as he kept his Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet near the front of the field. A second-place performance for Reddick was another good outing as he tries to build momentum toward the Playoffs.

Point Standings: 14th
Last Week: 9th

9. Martin Truex Jr.

He stayed inside the top-10 for the most part and led a couple laps. But Truex Jr. is starting to run out of time to win a race as the regular season winds down now to just a handful of races.

Point Standings: 5th
Last Week: 6th

10. William Byron

Still looking to regain his early season form that saw Byron win twice. A steady but not spectacular day in Pocono for the Hendrick Motorsports driver who finished 12th on Sunday.
