1. KYLE LARSON
The Hendrick Motorsports driver had a stellar car over the Iowa weekend and led 80 laps that included a win in the opening stage. Although he had trouble late that ultimately kept him from contending for a second straight win, Larson proved he will be a force to be reckoned with in the short term.
Last Week: 1st
2. CHASE ELLIOTT
He took over the lead in the point standings after racing home to a third-place Iowa finish. Elliott has a series-best average finish of 9.1 and registered his seventh top-five performance of the season on Sunday.
Last Week: 3rd
3. BRAD KESELOWSKI
The Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing No. 6 Ford was in the lead pack most of the night at Iowa and after starting fifth, Keselowski took the checkered flag tenth. Keselowski has been inside the top-10 in four of the last five races.
Last Week: 4th
4. DENNY HAMLIN
The last two weeks have not been great for Hamlin after blowing an engine at Sonoma and his uncompetitive 24th place finish at Iowa. Combined with his 38th place result in Sonoma, Hamlin’s average finish over the last two races is 31st, for those of you keeping score at home.
Last Week: 2nd
5. CHRISTOPHER BELL
He was forced to a backup car after crashing in practice but despite starting at the rear of the field, Bell was able to race his way back to the front in short order. His fourth place effort gave Bell four straight top-10 finishes.
Last Week: 6th
6. WILLIAM BYRON
The Hendrick Motorsports driver returned to a more expected form with his runner-up Iowa finish after a string of challenging races. It was Byron’s tenth top-10 finish of the 2024 season.

7. RYAN BLANEY
The defending champion has been running better of late but wasn’t able to put together a winning effort until Sunday night at Iowa. Blaney led 201 laps to give him 345 at the front of the field so far this year.
Last Week: NR
8. TYLER REDDICK
His stretch of three straight top-10 finishes ended at Iowa with a 22nd place performance for the 23XI Racing driver. But style points for his Hamburgler-inspired driver’s uniform.

9. ROSS CHASTAIN
The Trackhouse Racing driver seems to have rediscovered his aggressiveness in recent weeks, much to the chagrin of some of Chastain’s competitors. He was 11th in Iowa and has an average finish of 12.5 this year tied with William Byron for second best in the series.
Last Week:
10. ALEX BOWMAN
