SiriusXM remembers comedy great Jerry Stiller after his death was announced by his son, Ben Stiller. The comedian died at age 92 due to natural causes, but his impact will forever be felt on the landscape of American comedy.

Known for his iconic television roles as Frank Costanza on Seinfeld and Arthur Spooner on The King of Queens, Stiller first became a national phenomenon performing with his beloved wife Anne Meara on The Ed Sullivan Show. As a tribute to the legendary duo, Comedy Greats (Ch. 94) will be presenting the best of Stiller and Meara on The Ed Sullivan Show, which fans can hear On Demand below.

While the comedian’s legendary career spanned over six decades, he was likely most known for his Emmy-nominated portrayal of George Costanza’s father, Frank, on Seinfeld. Jerry Stiller was beloved and admired by many, but perhaps most of all by his on-screen son, Jason Alexander. Below, hear Alexander share memories of Stiller in an archival interview from earlier this year on Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Show.
