Mary Wilson, co-founder of legendary Motown group the Supremes, died at 76, her publicist, Jay Schwartz, confirmed to the Associated Press.

Throughout the day, pay tribute to Wilson’s life and legacy by tuning in to SiriusXM’s Soul Town (Ch. 49) and limited-run The Motown Channel below.

On February 15 at 12pm, SiriusXM remembers Wilson with a one-hour look at her stories and behind-the-scenes memories of growing up Motown. Tune in as she talks about the Supremes from beginning to the end and their contribution to the sound of young America on The Motown Channel.

Alongside Diana Ross and Florence Ballard, Wilson founded The Primettes before rebranding as The Supremes and becoming one of Motown Records’ premiere acts in the 1960s. Ballard was replaced by Cindy Birdsong in 1967, and Wilson left the group in 1977, but not before The Supremes recorded 12 No.1 singles, including “Baby Love,” “Stop! In the Name of Love,” “Where Did Our Love Go,” and “You Can’t Hurry Love.”

Listeners are also invited to remember Wilson’s lasting legacy through her conversations with Radio Andy (Ch. 102) host Bevy Smith, including her most recent SiriusXM Town Hall in 2019.
