SiriusXM remembers Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

The trailblazing lawyer and feminist icon died at age 87 due to complications from metastatic cancer of the pancreas, the Supreme Court announced.

SiriusXM is remembering the life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died Friday due to complications from metastatic cancer of the pancreas, the Supreme Court announced. She was 87.

The trailblazing lawyer and feminist icon, who was affectionately dubbed the “Notorious RBG,” was the second woman appointed to the nation’s highest court, and served on it for 27 years. Throughout her tenure, Ginsburg championed progressive causes and, during the past decade, became the most senior member of the Supreme Court’s liberal wing.
