That’s NBA Radio’s Justin Termine discussing Steph Curry’s latest feat. Curry rewrote the NBA’s single game record for made threes with 13 last night against the New Orleans Pelicans. In the win, Curry broke his own personal (and NBA record) of 12 made three-pointers, a record he shared with three-ball specialist Donyell Marshall and one Kobe Bean Bryant. Curry’s final line on the night: 46 points, five dimes, five boards, two steals and a hyper-efficient 13 of 17 from long distance.
As NBA Today’s Termine explains in the above video, it’s this uncanny ability of Steph’s to routinely nail the open three that even at this young age, makes him one of the NBA’s greatest shooters … “even over a guy like Larry Bird.” It’s that Bird line that should have everyone’s ears perked as Termine, for his many qualities, is an abject Celtics homer and if he’s saying Steph is the greatest, well, listen to the man and be sure to catch all the hoops news on NBA Radio.
