Months after Piers Morgan criticized her for wearing a low-cut blazer at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the star poked fun at the media personality’s seeming obsession with her body Tuesday on Sandyland.
The drama began when Morgan tweeted, “Would Susan Sarandon wear this to a funeral? No. It was thus horribly inappropriate for an In Memoriam tribute,” during the award show. But the Internet sided with Sarandon, starting the hashtag #CleavageSolidarity.

“He got all crazy,” Sarandon, laughing, told Sandra Bernhard. “And then all these women started sending him — lucky guy — all these pictures of women’s boobs in defense. And that went on for days! I don’t know, does he have a job? How does he have that much time?”
She called her supporters’ photos “hilarious,” and the ladies went on to jokingly psychoanalyze the 51-year-old Daily Mail columnist.
“That’s the first thing you bond with, right? That’s your lifeline. No wonder everyone loves them,” said Sarandon, 69, of breasts.
“And also why some people are uncomfortable with them, because a lot of people didn’t get to bond with them. I think that’s the issue,” said Bernhard, 60.
“He might not have been breastfed in England,” Sarandon cracked. “Well, you’re right, we should feel bad for him. … Something was up.”
“Or maybe something isn’t up,” Bernhard quipped. “Maybe that’s the other problem, if we’re going into double entendres.”
