The Kills cover Rihanna’s ‘Desperado’ during SiriusXMU Sessions

The Kills have returned with their first album in five years, Ash & Ice, the follow up to 2011’s Blood Pressure. In celebration of its release, Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart stopped by SiriusXMU (Ch. 35) for a stripped down performance of songs from the new effort. During the session, they also transformed Rihanna’s slow-burning ANTI cut Desperado into a bluesy acoustic number driven by Mosshart’s gritty vocals.

The Kills’ SiriusXMU Session premieres 6/8 at 9 pm ET with rebroadcasts 6/9 at 4 pm ET, 6/10 at 9 am ET and 6/12 at 12 pm ET.
