Tom Petty‘s legacy continues as Tom Petty Radio (Ch. 31) airs special programming to honor the music icon. Over the summer, the channel surprised fans with the world premiere of tracks from the upcoming box set Tom Petty: An American Treasure. The channel will continue to air brand new songs as well as three un-aired episodes of Petty’s radio show, Tom Petty’s Buried Treasure.
What’s more, starting Oct. 1, all SiriusXM subscribers can enjoy Tom Petty Radio on Ch. 4, regardless of their subscriptions. See below for the full schedule of Tom Petty-related specials which will air through the end of 2018.

This two-part special features Heartbreakers Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench sharing exclusive insight and commentary behind the making of the new box set Tom Petty: An American Treasure.
The legendary musicians tell stories and look back on their 40-year career with Rolling Stone senior writer and channel host, David Fricke.

Tom Petty One-Year Anniversary
On the one-year anniversary of Tom Petty’s passing, Oct. 2, David Fricke, Meg Griffin and Bill Flanagan will host a live call-in tribute show on Tom Petty Radio. Fans and special guests are invited to call in and share their memories of Tom Petty and his music.
The three-hour call-in show airs at 5pm ET on Oct. 2 and will re-air directly after at 8pm ET. Then, the episode will be available on demand online and in the SiriusXM app.
Tom Petty’s Buried Treasure – The Final Three
Tom Petty’s Buried Treasure was a weekly program where Petty pulled together a set of the best in rock, rhythm and blues from his private vaults, creating an hour of radio woven together with his informed, passionate and entertaining commentary.
To celebrate Petty’s birthday on Oct. 20, Tom Petty Radio will air the first of the “Final Three” episodes of Tom Petty’s Buried Treasure, which were recorded before his death but never aired.
