Hear 4*Town’s hit songs from ‘Turning Red’ with hosts Sandra Oh & Rosalie Chiang

The voiceover stars of Disney/Pixar’s Turning Red, Sandra Oh and Rosalie Chiang, host a special Extra Magic Hour on Disney Hits (Ch. 302) featuring songs from the movie’s fictional boy band 4*Town! Hear pop earworms “Nobody Like You” — which fits with Turning Red‘s theme of how everybody’s different but everybody goes through change — “U Know What’s Up,” “1 True Love,” and more. Turning Red Synopsis

Directed by Domee Shi and available on Disney+, Turning Red is an animated coming-of-age movie about 13-year-old Chinese-Canadian Mei Lee (voiced by Chiang) who finds herself unwillingly turning into a giant red panda anytime she gets excited due to a family curse. Mei Lee also struggles with her overbearing mother, Ming (voiced by Oh), who embarrasses Mei around her crush and at school and, worst of all, refuses to let her attend 4*Town’s concert. It takes a special family ritual to lock the red panda spirit inside a talisman on the night of the Red Moon. Will Mei seal away this part of herself or grow to accept it?
