On a special Veterans Day-themed episode of Randi Zuckerberg Means Business, Zuckerberg speaks with guests General Stanley A. McChrystal, retired four-star US general and former commander of US and coalition troops in Afghanistan; Cameron Cruse, co-founder and COO at R. Riveter, the handbag company on a mission to help employ military spouses; Thereasa Black, a Naval officer, licensed attorney, and CEO of Bon AppéSweet, a company that produces all-natural chocolate bars; Phil Klay, veteran and host of the podcast American Veteran: Unforgettable Stories; and Katherine Webster, founder of VetsInTech, which is committed to bringing together a tech-specific network, resources, and programs for our veterans interested in education, entrepreneurship, and employment. Tune in to P.O.T.U.S. Politics (Ch. 124) for Veterans Day specials on both Julie Mason Mornings and The Laura Coates Show. On November 11 from 6-9am, Mason will speak with Ward Carroll, former navy aviator and commander, who served in Desert Storm; Congressman Jake Auchincloss, US representative for Massachusettsâ 4th congressional district and Marine veteran; and Leo Shane, deputy editor of Military Times.
Then, on November 11 from 3-6pm, Laura Coates will speak with Aaron Leonard, retired lieutenant colonel in the US Army currently serving as a senior campaign representative and chair of the Veteran and Military Outdoors Coalition at the Sierra Club; Patrick OâDonnell, bestselling and critically acclaimed military historian and an expert on elite units; and Allison Gill, Ph.D., a former high-level employee at the US Department of Veterans Affairs who advocates for women veterans and equality within the VA system for female veterans and their families.
On November 11 at 4pm, Road Dog Trucking Radio (Ch. 146) host KC Phillips will welcome special guests Andrew Wilkow ahead of his live Veterans Day broadcast in Nashville; Tim Aschoff, president and COO at Crete Carrier, and Walter Ross, a driver for Crete Carrier who served in the US Navy for 10 years; and Rob Reich, executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Schneider, a premier provider of transportation, logistics, and intermodal services, who also served as an officer in the US Army and was a member of the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas.
In honor of Veterans Day, Andrew Wilkow will broadcast live from Jimmy Buffettâs Margaritaville in Nashville. This special event will also feature veterans groups and live musical performances. Naismith Hall of Famer David Robinson joins SiriusXM NBA Radio (Ch. 86) for a 60-minute special to discuss his time in the Naval Academy, his work in the community through the NBAâs Hoops for Troops campaign, and how the military and team sports help young people succeed. The show will air on November 11 at 6am and 4pm.
On November 11 at 11am, professional wrestler Danny Limelight will join Busted Open on SiriusXM Fight Nation (Ch. 156). Danny is a marine veteran and former drill instructor who served our country for 10 years.
