Wallows put an acoustic spin on Sabrina Carpenter’s smash pop hit “Espresso” during their exclusive live performance at the SiriusXM LA Garage for Alt Nation. The alt-rock band, fronted by Dylan Minnette, is releasing their third studio album, “Model,” on May 24.

Sabrina’s first Top 10 hit, “Espresso” was released on April 11, 2024, debuting at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and later peaking at No. 4. She performed the song live for the first time during her Coachella set the same day it was released.

During Wallows’ cover, Dylan — instantly recognizable from his portrayal of lead character Clay Jensen in the popular Netflix series “13 Reasons Why” — chose to sing “Espresso” as written and performed by Sabrina, without changing the pronouns in the lyrics, much to the support of fans.
