Thunder lose again, Warriors win 44th straight at home
Remember how we wrote about the Thunder yesterday, that a win against the Warriors would right the ship that is slowly sinking in the Red River? So much for that. Oklahoma City entered the fourth quarter with a one-point lead only to fall at Golden State, 121-106. The Thunder are now 2-6 since the All-Star break and they need to figure some things out quickly if they want to stay in the top half of Western Conference’s playoff bracket. Kevin Durant had 32 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists while Russell Westbrook had 22 points on an abysmal 8-of-24 shooting, though this dunk from was pretty cool:
For the Warriors, Stephen Curry had 33 points, including this nifty move on Durant. You could almost hear Durant begging for someone to help him defend Curry:
Sigh… https://t.co/dfIMIqeWVj

The Warriors have now won 44 straight games at home, tying the NBA record set by the Chicago Bulls from 1995-96. They will have a chance to break the record on Monday against the Orlando Magic. It might help when they have celebrities like Prince showing up at their games:
Can it be Saturday already?!
We’ve got your previews right here, guy. And things are heating up on the ground in Vegas, too, the UFC 196 pre-fight press conference escalated when Conor McGregor took a swipe at Nate Diaz during the faceoff. Both fighters’ teammates hopped on the stage, but security quickly diffused the situation:

Afterwards, both of them joined Fox Sports Live to discuss Saturday’s fight. As you can imagine, the exchange was nothing short of heated.

Insanity in Waseca County, Minn.
Our must-see moment comes from a high school basketball game between Waseca and Marshall that featured four overtimes and three buzzer-beaters. Waseca won 103-100 on a buzzer-beater from Cole Streich, but that wasn’t even the play of the game. Nick Dufault forced the fourth overtime with this incredible 80-foot shot:

Streich then sent Waseca to the state championship with this three-pointer:
