Good morning! A lot happens in sports, even when you’re busy doing other non-sports-y stuff. So here are the top headlines and moments from yesterday, in case you missed anything while you were tracking Bernie Sanders’ upset in the Michigan Democratic primary.
Big Game Dame
Damian Lillard is a man on a mission right now. Lillard put up 41 points and 11 assists to lead Portland over Washington in overtime, 116-109. Lillard has scored 30 or more points in 10 of his last 13 games, and two 50+ games. Lillard’s sustained warpath was on full display late in the game last night as he drilled multiple daggers in overtime. “Big Game Dame” has the Blazers in sixth place in the West after most people expected this to be a rebuilding year in Portland. Check out Lillard’s highlights:

Mascots beware
It seems like the Lopez twins have a problem with mascots. Knicks center Robin Lopez has had a history of toying with opposing mascots, and last night his brother Brook got in on the beef. The Nets center assaulted the Raptors mascot with this WWE-like body slam:
So … Brook Lopez is destroying mascots now like his brother:

The Lopez twins are lucky they never tried any of those antics on these 16 bad-ass college mascots.
Air Gordon and Jonathon Simmons take flight
Our must-see moment comes from the Magic’s 107-98 loss to the Lakers. Aaron Gordon felt the need to remind everyone that he should’ve won the dunk contest by pulling off an in-game windmill slam:

And for a bonus must-see moment, San Antonio’s Jonathon Simmons dunked all over Minnesota:
