Good morning! A lot happens in sports, even when you’re busy doing other non-sports-y stuff. So here are the top headlines and moments from yesterday, in case you missed anything while you were watching Scandal.

SiriusXM’s 2016 NFL Draft Coverage

The first round of the NFL Draft went down Thursday night with a ton of excitement. The Los Angeles Rams selected quarterback Jared Goff with the number-one overall pick. The Eagles also picked a quarterback, going with Carson Wentz with the second selection. For full results and analysis, check the archive of SiriusXM’s live blog.

The biggest story coming out of the draft was the fall of Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, a projected top-three pick who was selected 13th by the Miami Dolphins. Ten minutes before the draft, a video was posted on Tunsil’s Twitter of him smoking marijuana:

Tunsil’s account was deleted, but posts on his Instagram insinuated that Tunsil received improper benefits while at Ole Miss:

Tunsil later said his accounts were hacked, but did admit to receiving monetary benefits in a press conference that was abruptly ended.

Remember, SiriusXM NFL Radio (Ch. 88) will continue to broadcast every round live. Coverage airs Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 7:00 pm ET. Stay tuned for more coverage throughout the week!

Dee Gordon busted for PEDs

Reigning National League batting champion Dee Gordon has been suspended 80 games without pay for violating the MLB’s performance-enhancing drug policy. The Miami Marlins second baseman reportedly tested positive for the performance-enhancing substances exogenous testosterone and clostebol, but said in a statement that he didn’t knowingly take PEDs but will not appeal the suspension.

Gordon hit .333 last season to lead the NL. The 28-year-old signed a five-year, $50 million extension over the offseason.

NBA Playoffs: Hawks advance past Celtics

The Atlanta Hawks punched their ticket to the second round with a 104-92 win over the Boston Celtics to close out the series 4-2. All five Hawks starters scored in double-figures, led by Paul Milsap’s 17 points and Al Horford and Kent Bazemore, who added 15 points apiece. Atlanta will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round with Game 1 scheduled for Monday May 2 at 7 p.m. ET.

NHL Playoffs: Oshie’s hat-trick leads Capitals

The Washington Capitals opened the second round with a 4-3 overtime win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. T.J. Oshie led the way with a hat-trick, including the game-winning goal in overtime for our must-see moment of the night:
