Good morning! A lot happens in sports, even when you’re busy doing other non-sports-y stuff. So here are the top headlines and moments from yesterday, in case you missed anything while you were watching the finale of The Challenge on MTV.
No. 20 Duke upsets No. 5 UNC
Last night’s Duke vs. North Carolina game lived up to the hype as the Blue Devils used a second-half comeback to beat the No. 5 Tar Heels, 74-73, in Chapel Hill. Duke, which is ranked No. 20, trailed most of the game before taking the lead with under three minutes left and using strong defense to finish the game and earn its fourth straight win over UNC. Freshman point guard Derryck Thornton made the game-saving block in the final seconds, just barely grazing Joel Berry’s game-winner attempt enough change the shot’s trajectory:

Onuaku stylin’ on ’em
Our must-see moment of the night comes from No. 18 Louisville’s 72-58 win over Syracuse. Chinanu Onuaku had himself a game with 13 points, 15 rebounds and four assists, including this smooth behind-the-back pass to Trey Lewis for an easy layup:
