Good morning! A lot happens in sports, even when you’re busy doing other non-sports-y stuff. So here are the top headlines and moments from yesterday, in case you missed anything while you were tracking the Super Tuesday results.
NBA Playoffs: Raptors comeback win, Hawks roll over Celtics
The Raptors overcame a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Pacers, 102-99, and take a 3-2 series lead. Toronto outscored Indiana 25-9 in the fourth quarter as DeMar DeRozan had his best game of the series with 34 points. Paul George had an outstanding game with 39 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, and the Pacers had a chance to force overtime but Solomon Hill’s three-pointer came after the buzzer:

The Hawks used a red-hot second half to beat the Celtics, 110-83, and also take a 3-2 series lead. Five players scored in double figures for Atlanta, led by Mike Scott’s 17 points off the bench. Boston leading scorer Isaiah Thomas was held to seven points and suffered a sprained ankle late in the fourth quarter.
McCutchen Power Surge
Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen emerged from his slump to blast three home runs and lead Pittsburgh to a 9-4 win over Colorado. McCutchen had been in a 3-for-23 funk on Pittsburgh’s current road trip. This is the second time in his career that he’s blasted three homers in a game. His performance is our must-see highlight of the night:
