Black Mamba returns
Kobe Bryant went into full “Black Mamba” mode with a vintage performance to lead the Lakers to a 119-115 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Bryant dropped a season-high 38 points with seven three-pointers, the most treys he’s hit since 2008. He out-dueled Minnesota’s Andrew Wiggins, who had 30 points.
Bryant added five rebounds and five assists to be the oldest player to have a 35/5/5 game since Karl Malone in 2003. The win ended the Lakers’ 10-game losing streak, to avoid setting the record for the longest losing streak in franchise history. Enjoy this video as Bryant turns back the clock.

Gaga to perform at #SB50
Lady Gaga will be joining the Super Bowl 50 festivities. The pop megastar will be singing the national anthem during the pregame ceremony. It will be just another addition to an already huge year for Gaga, who won a Golden Globe for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel, and will be honoring David Bowie with a tribute performance at the Grammys on Feb. 15.
The mascot did it
Our must-see moment comes from the Houston Rockets’ 115-102 win over the Miami Heat. During halftime the Rockets mascot, whose name just so happens to be Clutch, hit this backwards shot from halfcourt and then walked off like it was nothing. Dust your shoulders off, Clutch, you won the night.
It’s LIT 🔥https://t.co/Ox5SLlyq2y
