On September 14, Dylan Douglas launches “Young American with Dylan Douglas,” a new weekend series on SiriusXM Progress (Ch. 127) designed to engage Gen Z and other young listeners during the run-up to the highly-anticipated November elections.

“It’s been a wild ride the last couple of years. From the start of forever wars, the first Black president, culture wars, Trumpism, and now a second chance at a first female president, my generation has lived through some of the most transformative and tumultuous times in our history; and it’s only gonna get crazier,” said Dylan. “I wanna take you through it. On my show, I won’t just talk you through the news of the day – I’ll underscore the larger issues spinning our country out of control.”

About Dylan Douglas

A 2022 graduate of Brown University, Dylan Douglas has spent much of his young adult life working on political campaigns and grassroots movements, including as a deputy campaign manager for a high-profile congressional race.

Despite growing up as the son of Academy Award-winning actors Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Dylan has to this point chosen to work mainly behind the scenes in the political world. He’s now stepping in front of the microphone because he feels strongly that his generation needs to play a more active and integral role in shaping the future of the country.
