From the first MTV studio in Hell’s Kitchen to Spring Break in Daytona Beach, Alan Hunter is proud to have corrupted the minds and Day-Glo’ed the pants of America’s Classic Rewind generation. Still got a mullet and a ten-second attention span? Alan Hunter, official First VJ, is probably to blame. Please don’t hold that against him.

Mark Goodman remembers the moment he decided to work in radio. "I realized I didn't have the patience to learn an instrument and I had no other discernible skills." Lucky for us, he's been on SiriusXM channels since 2004, and now is super pumped to be playing Classic Rock from the 70s and 80s on Classic Rewind! Although Mark is constantly checking out new bands, this original MTV VJ admits the '80s were amazing for him! Best '80s band? "REM." Best '80s event? "Live Aid." Best interview? "Paul McCartney. After the interview he personally got on the phone and made a dinner reservation for me!"

This unique upbringing taught him to listen and analyze music in a distinct way, fueling a passion that spans across genres—from the rock of the 70s to the metal and hair bands of the 80s, right to the present day; artists as diverse as Metallica, Barry Manilow, Pavarotti, and Waylon Jennings.Today, Dean shares his musical insights and memories with a growing community on social media, particularly on TikTok, where he moderates discussions around the songs commonly heard on SiriusXM's Classic Rewind, Classic Vinyl, and Deep Tracks. Additionally, the foundation helps emerging artists who embrace a more organic style of songwriting, production, and performance, fostering stronger connections between artists and audiences.Dean is also the co-host of a new podcast with iconic Canadian artist and former Canadian Idol judge Sass Jordan, where they explore the role of positive energy in music and life.
